IV INTERNATIONAL GATHERING FOR THE COOPERATION
AND EXCHANGE IN BIODANZA
From 9th to 12 th October 2009


 

OBJECTIVES

On the occasion of this Gathering celebration, we wish to set up a cultural and artistic space called BIODANZARTE, to gather all those art works with their origins in Biodanza.

This includes;

- Works whose direct protagonist is the Biodanza.
- Works created under the Biodanza’s influence, though this is not their purpose.

SCOPE

It comprises everyone that is registered for the Gathering, both from home and abroad.

TOPICS

The works presented are to deal with the topic “BIODANZA IN MY LIFE”, including:

WRITTEN WORK (Poetry, Short Story, Essay, Tale etc; Maximum spreading; 2 pages, one side).

PLASTIC WORK (Sculpture, Painting, Drawing, Collage…).

PHOTOGRAPHIC WORK (Photography, other related techniques, …).

AUDIO-VISUAL WORK (Videos, Short films, … etc).

PRESENTATION BASES AND DATES

Since the available space for the exhibition is limited, there will be a previous reception of all the proposals of works to be exhibited, trying that everyone that wish to participate is able to do it. With this purpose, a maximum of two works will be allowed to be presented by every participant.

The closing date for the delivery of the proposals would be September 7th, 2009.

An email with every proposal of work to be exhibited must be sent to the following address: biodanzarte@biodanzamadrid.com

In the case of a work on a digital medium (text, photo, …): A copy of the work will be sent to the mentioned electronic address, in Word 97-2003 formats for the written work, and in JPG or TIFF formats for images.

In the case of a physical work (painting, sculpture, …) an image of the work will be sent in the GPG or TIFF formats.

In the case of the audio-visual work:

This will be sent through email, if its size is not larger than 2Mb; otherwise, it will be loaded on a web site and its link will be sent through e-mail.

AN E-MAIL ADDRESS AND A CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER

A POSTAL ADDRESS

THE KIND OF WORK (PAINTING, SCULPTURE, ETC)

THE MEASURES OR CHARACTERISTICS

A SHORT TEXT ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE WORK

Since the closing date for the reception of the proposals (September 7), the Commission will let people know if their works have been chosen or not (we hope all of them can be exhibited). The authors of the selected works will receive the date and place they should send their original works to for their exhibition. Each author will take charge of collecting their works, once the Gathering is over.

The Organization will accept no responsibility for any cracks or damage the works can get during their delivering, reception, exhibition and collection.

The participation in this event implies the acceptance and fulfillment of such requirements.
